Playtech Striks a Deal with PartyGaming
Playtech the online gambling software producer has announced that it has struck a deal with PartyGaming to power the gambling websites that PartyGaming has agreed to buy from Empire and Intercontinental Online.
A statement from Playtech said, 'Under the terms of the four-year agreement, the online gaming websites currently operated by Empire and Intercontinental will remain exclusively on the Playtech platform.'
The websites that are being acquired by PartyGaming in this business move, include NoblePoker.com, Clubdicecasino.com, EnterCasino.com, MissBingo.com, FairPoker.com and MagicBoxCasino.com.
The deal between Playtech and PartyGaming is conditional on the successful acquisition of Empire by PartyGaming which was officially announced last week. PartyGaming confirmed that it was to buy the gaming assets of Empire Online for GBP19.2 million and Intercontinental Online for £GBP14 million.
My Mitch Garber from Partygaming explained, These acquisitions represent excellent value for our shareholders and are consistent with our strategy.
