European Gambling on the UP
Online Casino gambling has had a hard time in 2006, but a resent report by the European Commission says that business is booming Europe despite recent heavy losses by their US counterparts.
This resent study revealed that gambling amounts to 3% of total EU GDP and is set to rise further as US operators home in on European opportunities.
This report also mentioned that €51 billion was generated through gambling (45% lotteries and 17% betting), in 2003.
