Over 300 Lincolnshire Casino Jobs

New Casino would create up to 350 new jobs on the Lincolnshire coast if a bid to build a new UK Casino is successful, East Lindsey District Council has applied for a licence to build a new casino near Skegness or Mablethorpe, but some local residents have expressed concern that the development would encourage excesive gambling in local towns.
The announcments will come from the government this December.
The East Lindsey District Council was one of 31 local authorities to be shortlisted for the new casino licence in May.
Council officials backing the bid said it would, directly or indirectly, create up to 350 jobs and bring many tourism benefits for the coast.
The application has been praised by the UK Casino Advisory Panel for its strong regeneration features and community support.
