AEG Dome Casino already under construction
Controversy has erupted over one of the new propsed UK super casinos after news emerged that construction work on the Millennium Dome Casino site has already begun, This comes one week before offical public hearings begin.
The UK Casino advisory Panel have a short listed of eight local authorities to be considered for the first UK super casino, but it has come to attention that AEG (Anschutz Entertainment Group) have already begun construction on the Millennium Dome Casino site, The news has sparked rumours that AEG have been tipped off about the winner of the new license.
From on site souces, AEG has already built the new casino buiding, complete with roof.
Hugo Swire, the shadow culture secretary, comment: “Many people are now asking why would AEG take such a financial risk and actually begin construction of the casino unless they had received assurances that they would be successful in the bidding process.”
