Sheffield gose to bid for "UK Super Casino"

Recent rumours that Blackpool has been the recipient of favouritism from the Casino Advisory Panel, Sheffield City Council has announced plans to lodge a bid for a ‘super casino to be built in Sheffield. A spokesperson for the council said it would be waiting to receive the government’s guidelines on submitting a bid for the new UK Super Casinos. It is our intention to make a strong case for Sheffield to be considered as a pilot location so that we can gain from the regeneration benefits of such a development.
