Blackpool College takes on gambling students

Do you fancy a career in gambling? Well for the first time in the UK you can learn and get qualified at Blackpool’s Fylde College, this college is now offering courses related to the gambling industry. Students will be able to study for a degree in casino management. Students will also be able to take vocational gambling courses for their GCSE’s – with City and Guilds accredited qualifications. At degree level practical courses like Slot/Fruit machine engineering will also be available.It is no surprise that Blackpool is the focus of this new drive to train and educate people for the gambling industry. Already famous for its bright lights, roulette and blackjack, Blackpool is tipped to become a gambling superpower in the UK in years to come, now that the gambling laws have been reviewed.Recent revelations, which have caused uproar in those councils which were competing for government approval, have led many to believe that Blackpool has been favoured by the advisory body overseeing the selection process.
