Blackpool Casino College
The Flyde College in Blackpool is the first UK college to take on gambling students, they have built the UKs first mini-casino school in the seaside resort, which it will use to train prospective employees in the future gaming industry in Blackpool.
Blackpool is currently earmarked gain approval from the UK government to build the first Vegas style Super Casino in the UK.
Students attending the Flyde college will be able to learn a variety of new skills suitable for the casino industry, such as being a croupier, operating a blackjack wheel, and running other table games such as Roulette, Poker and blackjack, They can also take courses in casino management, or slot machine engineering. Blackpool Council has drawn up a £2.5 billion regeneration plan, including plans for five new Super Casinos.
